In the intensity of the emotional disturbance itself lies the value, the energy which he should have at his disposal in order to remedy the state of reduced adaptation. Nothing is achieved by repressing this state or devaluing it rationally.
--C.G. Jung

I strive to create a safe place where we can explore your inner dynamics. As we progress, this space, or as C.G. Jung called it, this temenos, will allow us to safely access parts of yourself that might be hidden, forgotten, or misunderstood. We will work together to explore your psyche using methods such as dialoging, active imagination, working with dreams, art, and journaling.  This will allow us deeper access to your inner life, which in turn will help transform your outer life. Together we will begin a journey toward healing and self-exploration.

I believe that we all have the capacity to heal, grow, and transform our human experiences. My approach is eclectic. Rooted in a psychodynamic and person-centered approach, I draw on such traditions as narrative therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and solution focused therapy, among others.  I treat mood disorders, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, Relational Disorders, and people struggling with chronic illness and pain.
